The German American Social Club of Greater Miami
Presents OKTOBERFEST MIAMI - 2012
Oktoberfest Miami celebrates its 55th anniversary in 2012.

It was first run by the German American Social Club of Greater Miami in 1958, making it the original and longest running Oktoberfest in Florida. It is also the largest German cultural event in South Florida.

Oktoberfest Miami is held on the last two weekends of October at the German American Social Club on Miller Drive in Miami's horse country area.

It is a great cultural event of celebrating German culture, German music, German dancing, German food and, of course, German beer!

Join us in the traditional toast of Ein Prosit for the weekends of October 19-21 and October 26-28.

Oktoberfest Miami is held at:

The German American Social Club
11919 SW 56th St, Miami, FL 33175

Entertainment

At Oktoberfest Miami, we pride ourselves on providing you with authentic German entertainment.
Our two bands are from Germany and Austria.
Our traditional dancing displays are German folkdancing (Volkstanz) and Bavarian Schuhplatter.

Our beer is German too!!

After all, that's what Oktoberfest Miami is all about - a celebration of German culture.

Live Bands from Germany and Austria

Oktoberfest Miami always prides itself on bringing German and Austrian musicans to play in our tent and hall venues. This year is no exception and to mark the 55th Anniversary of Oktoberfest Miami, we have invited back our old friends Die Seitz Bubn and Die Donaupiraten.

German Traditional Dance Groups

The German American Social Club has three traditional German Dance Groups, which perform every Oktoberfest as well as throughout the year:

Die Deutsche Volkstanz und Trachten Gruppe
The Original Auerhahn Schuhplattler
The Edelweiss Schuhplatter Children's Dance Group

You can take part too!

One of the highlights of every Oktoberfest Miami is that the audience get to learn German Folk Dances too when  Die Deutsche Volkstanz und Trachten Gruppe run the very popular audience participation section.

Food and drink

Our food at Oktoberfest Miami is authentically German too:

We have the best Wurst.
We love the Leberkäse.
The Kassler is king.
But Chef Tano's schnitzel is incredible.

We pride ourselves in offering German beer at Oktoberfest, we also have German liquor and German wine (both white and red).

You buy food and drink at Oktoberfest Miami with tickets that you buy from our ticket booths.
